It’s a double dose of Where We’ve Been this week!
If there’s one thing we learned in the last two weeks it’s that the Republican Party of Texas is more committed to our great state than ever. Super Saturday saw you volunteering in every county across the state to help #TeamP and others like Greg Abbott and Senator John Cornyn #KeepTexasRed. Team P. was spread across counties statewide from Hidalgo to Hays and Tarrant to Tom Green and couldn’t have done it without our amazing volunteers.
Even with the success of Super Saturday we know these two good weeks found their foundation in the daily events that don’t always get noticed. That’s why Team P. was busy all across the state both in the lead up to this statewide block walk and in maintaining that momentum through last week.
George P. spent time at the McLennan County Republican Club in Waco in the week before Super Saturday. He shared his vision and hopes for the General Land Office before sharing stories and visiting with supporters. George P. also visited with the leadership of the Texas Farm Bureau about the important issues facing our great state that he plans to address when elected.
Team P. launched our new Young Professionals for George P. coalition to great success. Join here to be part of the movement and let everyone know you’re a young professional supporting George P!
The past two weeks have seen an increase in phone banking efforts thanks to volunteers just like you. In Fort Worth, more and more people are joining the weekly crew to get out the word about George P. Bush. Cameron County came out in force to Harlingen while an enthusiastic supporter filled every seat at the Dallas County phone banking headquarters.
Team P. spent time with the ladies of Lubbock at the Republican Women’s luncheon mid-week to hear from them about what matters most from their General Land Office and the best ways to #KeepTexasRed. Team P. was also hearing from the ladies in North Texas as George P. and his wife Amanda made it out to talk to the Fort Worth Republican Women about the next generation of Texan leadership.
Finally, last night Team P. took in a ballgame in force as the Rangers took on the New York Yankees in Arlington. Over 75 supporters came out to tailgate and watch the game together. They’ll be sending in some great pictures for #WearsP this week, so be sure to get yours in as well! It’s the beginning of another exciting week across the state for #TeamP!
